If they continue spamming, it must mean someone is buying!

Note: A joke.

Removing iframes is superior because by blocking the frame you don't
need to block all its individual items inside. ;)
Well, you don't need to block the individual items inside, you can block the url the iframe contains to block it all at once. And I just found out that you _can_ block iframes in Opera, but it's per site.

I would allow sex stuff.
But not economy related stuff.

These people merge both. Thus, lets crush them.

It's probably some disgruntled former member or something like that. At the college where my wife works they never got any spam on their work email accounts until a student flunked out and left with a really bad attitude. Within a week all the admin staff found themselves signed up to receive emails from porn sites and spammers. Now they're getting 60+ emails each every day from these places.

I must have seriously annoyed lots of people then, judging by the amount of spam I receive every day! :D

Mind you, most of it is for viagra... uhm, wonder if that's my ex-girlfriend's doing?

No problem, with the fake members, i check this from time to time, and delete almost all members that have zero posts and a website.

It's a little better with the visual confirmation, wich is switched on for about a year now, but i still have to remove a dozen fake users every month.

There are 749 members with 0 post

Why not delete all members with 0 post that are older than 1 year :?:
This forum would loose 521 members, but who cares...

Also one of the newest members Mr_RED has 0 posts and a website regarding PureBasic in romanian.

Nooooo
Do that mean you would kill every person who never say nothing?
There are people who wants to belong the forum and at the moment has nothing to say, or simply wants to only watch, learn, listen.

The simplest way to stop this, is no url site option in profiles...

They just do this so they get high hit rate on search engines.

If a user want's to post is website, he can make it on is signature.

True. It should be like free web-based mail though: if a member doesn't
log in for a year, their membership should be deleted. In my opinion. :)
