If it were me, I'd probably toss that holder as unnecessary and just use the usual four screws in the back.techjunkie wrote:You can remove the PSU holder if the PSU doesn't fit in the holder and the mounting will fit a "normal" mounting. Antec have thought about everything!

The Intel prices drops!!!Tranquil wrote: The E6700 will then have the same price as the E6600 for now. So my eyes will fall on this processor. Quad-Cores are nice but even not supported yet and quiet expensive. The E6700 is fairly a good choice for that amount of money.
The prices in Sweden are,
* E6600 €215
* E6700 €295
at the moment... a 25% drop in three days. I'm going to wait a couple of days more, before I order my E6600 or E6700.
(The Antec P182 case is impossible to get in Sweden now. Not one seller has it in stock - have to wait a couple of weeks...
[EDIT]
Found one dealer with P182, so I will have my case on thursday or friday...

Motherboards, fans, LCD Monitors, DVD burners, Laptops... everything...
AND they actually have a local Swedish Technical support in Stockholm Sweden.

First Impression
ASUS mobo
Must say the packaging where really bad, no sealing whatsoever, the manual was crumbled and the back panel looked like h*ll. But the motherboard seems okey.
Corsair PSU
Really, really good packaging - all the stuff "smells" quality. Impressive!
Intel CPU
Well, it's Intel and it was package the Intel way (even a "Intel Duo Core" sticker where included (of course))
Thermaltake Hardcano 13
A bargin! Got it for €19 at a local store. Very good packaging and manuals.

Update of Techjunkies Adventures in the Overclockers fantastic World
ASUS Supreme.FX soundcard
Looks like someone has spilled a tube of glue on the back of the PCB.
ASUS mobo
Three of the electrolytic capacitor are so bent, so you can't fit anything in some contacts (have to bend them back).
Otherwise everything is OK!

I've had several Asus mobo's and never had any problems with them-- I've had Asus graphics cards too. Only problem is that the beta drivers for them are really BETA drivers hehehe. unstable as hell. I think most developers would call them pre-alpha.

Nope! I buy all my stuff on-line. (I'm visually handicapped and can't drive so for me, on-line is just a whole lot more convenient)techjunkie wrote:Haven't you seen computer stores lately?50% of the stuff are labled "ASUS".
That was my experience with with ATI's non-beta drivers, never had that problem with nVidia...GeoTrail wrote:Only problem is that the beta drivers for them are really BETA drivers hehehe. unstable as hell.
Try getting an nvidia 7300se and running that on the latest driver (not latest beta), the amount of problems I had were unbelievable.
Someone here pointed me to a new beta that was actually quite hard to find and that sorted it out but for a while I was going to get rid of the card.
Saying that, I probably still will because it is crap!!
