Initially I had 82-83 FPS on my Geforce 4 MX 460. But after 15-20 seconds it slows down to around 73 FPS...

constant 85 FPS. maybe it's a memory-allocation thingy?

Looks like DriakTravo uses 3D-Sprites, but not in the sizes
32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256, ...
If you dont use this sizes, Sprite3D are not shown on some
graphics cards. See help for CreateSprite3D().

OOHHH!!! ok that is right I forgot about that... The smoke part is when you shoot the fire that comes out of the turret. This is what the game should look right now:
Hmm... looks like I have some work to do, that is supposed to be a tank but I really suck at making sprites and no one wants to help me so that is the best I can do...
If anyone feels like helping me out with coding or sprites, please e-mail me at

Sometimes it's good to start off with easy sprites so you can focus on the coding then go back and redo them after you finished the coding. I'll see what I can come up with. I'm not the best artist but I do ok, I guess.

Well, I've never made a tank before but here is what I got. Not the best but you can use it.

no matter what i do, stable at 75, screen refresh is 100 though, but running all kinds of stuff in the background doesn't make any difference to the framerate on this athlon

ok one thing though, this is what the game looks like now.... Without the "smoke part" (I am working on it to make it much better):
Can you do me one favor? I want to keep the tank the same size and shape, but the coloring looks a little off, is it possible to make the turret match the main part a liitle more? It looks a little darker than the main part. That would be so cool!
Again, thank you everyone for your responce!

Kick Awsome! Could you try to do another one? I need a new sprite to replace this plane and missle. (Plane one the right missle on the left.) The whole object of the game is to shoot down the missles before they hit the airplanes that you are gaurding. It wont look good if it has an awsome looking tank and a crappy looking plane and missle.
Thank you so much by the way
