This is too cool! I am making a few map sprites to see what this couuld look like translated into a 2D RPG engine... :D

Werks for me... I got sidetracked learning from Demivec about Linked Lists, and we have been having fun with graphics!

I almost have a game completed... need to tweak a few things! Not an RPG, just a simple boardgame I made to learn how to do what I need to do.

As soon as I have something will let you see it!

I have one suggestion now:

When you save map... can you generate some sort of rough TXT file for the map... describing each square as a different number (including the BLACK ones) :D

That and adding WALLS for each passage and room and I could probably give you a tile engine in about 2 weeks tops!

I have the graphics in ISO and Zelda styles already! 8)

Oops killed it (had to kill in windows taskmanager) I had 16 rooms and then adjusted the zoom level. After that I went to adjust the size of the map from 50 to (what I was gonna type was 256) but it got stuck at 25.
