Is it a real cake or is it just your plastic toy zoomed to a bigger resolution :wink:

Same here. :)

I'm thinking about having a crack at Linux, but it seems a heck of a lot of hassle!

I mean how many libs and packages and so on does a typical application require before it will run? And then all the different versions of the gui toolkits etc! Aghhhhhh...

Is it as bad as it seems?

Its only as bad as you want it to be. I recommend you get Ubuntu Linux as its fairly simple for a beginner. If you start with Gentoo you'll be in a world of hurt. =)

ROFLMAO! Ain't Dat Da Truth! :lol:

BTW, I just did a little test spin of Enlightenment 17.... I can no longer
talk crap about Enlightenment 'cause 17 is an absolute work of art. Not
sure how long 17 has been out, but it had been quite a few years since
I last tried Enlightenment, and I wasn't too keen on it's ugly minimalist
look back then. But now! WoW! If you haven't tried 17, give it a whirl.
