oh yes, you are right (i didnt notive it before)
btw, i dont really like the transparent stuff in all ways... take a look to screenshot 2... it looks a bit confused with all the open windows and some transparent areas... (dont really like it... its a feature that nobody really need and only may eat a lot of CPU power!?)

I like the design, but I hate Microsofts Idea of reducing OpenGL compatibility in Windows Vista :? ¬_¬' I hate them!

well its only for m$ own drivers. nearly every person that uses opengl has installed his/her gfx-drivers wich comes with own opengl driver that STILL works nicely! its just the standard driver that sadly isnt good anymore.

Well, opengl.org says something different. Extensions will no longer be supported, Performance will get down to about 50% and OpenGL version is FIXED on OpenGL 1.4, so no new drivers are compatible to windows.

OF COURSE THERE IS!
look around you, it has been discussed a lot of places EVEN in opengl's own comments about the article.

however one problem with it: [quote from a betatester, and 5 star user at opengl.org forum]
A flat install gives you eye candy but once you install the latest drivers, you get proper OpenGL but no eye candy. (I had assumed that this was because the drivers were not WHQL for longhorn or whatever - but this discussion makes me think otherwise)
so it might be because drivers arent ready yet.
i will just suggest people not to use aeroglass to have full opengl support..
I think that OpenGL standard is too strong to simply destoy it - too many companies support it. However there is another scenario what would happen if NVidia and ATI drop new D3D from their driver? I think that those hardware companies have much more power than software oriented Microsoft...
Ok, it isn't that bad at all. It will affect gl windowed apps under aero but fullscreen games are going to run full speed. Maybe ihvs will circumvent the aero problem as well.
