Hi!
I have been working professionally as a multimedia developer/graphic artist for the past few years. During that time I have used many 'powerful' (not so powerful, but mostly bloated) applications. But it was not until very recently that I found one of the most enjoyable programming languages available. Streamlined and FAST, compact and smart--this development tool I discovered is at last worthy of the title 'powerful' without simply being a copy writing exaggeration. Maybe you heard of this mighty little tool? It is called PureBasic.

Thank you for sharing your fantastic vision of what a true programmer's tool should be. The more I learn about your application, the more I want to learn. At last an addiction that does not cause tooth decay and love handles! Haha..
One of the methods I work most frequently with is incorporating Shockwave Flash into the container applications I design (either as compelling interfaces, or advantageous presentations). I also make great use of the common Window's Microsoft ActiveX components such as the web browser. I hope this is not too hard of a request..
Would it be possible to include a new library for embedding and communicating with ActiveX components within PureBasic? I am sure someone with about a zillion more brain cells than I have may be able to discover a way to use Flash and the Web Browser through a combination of Win32API and asm. But I know I cannot be the only person who would benefit hugely from the addition of such a convenient ActiveX library. These are the two main issues that are keeping me from (very happily) switching most of my work over to PureBasic.
Even if you cannot design such a library, or another multimedia related library, I like to say thank you for all the hard work you have already done. It is truly appreciated, my friend. You deserve more congratulations than I can possibly do you justice in this message.
