for times like this there should be a ::drool:: emote.
Just last month i upgraded my PC to an athlon64, in part because i knew that those chips would be coming out for socket 939. That, and i also knew it'll prolly be another year before i can afford one >.<
one tip for you though... don't put too much stock in what tom's hardware says. They tend to give reviews that are directly related to their advertising revenues..... I would recommend somewhere like www.hardocp.com for tech news like that
