Ogre Update please

Post by marvin »

Hey, now that Mac OS X flavor is out sampling , when can we start to think about the OGRE upate.

I've been waiting since last December when rumors about OGRE is going to be updated in PureBasic.

That was months ago. I need Ogre Updated in Purebasic please.

I am a hopeless programmer, but with Purebasic I can pretend to be a great one. hahahahahaha  Creating Windows apps with Purebasic is fun and easy. With the help from the guys on the forum, need I mention. But now I need Ogre to be updated so I can continue my projects, because I think it is more exciting in 3D.

Please don't tell me to get another 3d engine, because I wouldn't know what to do with it. PureBasic is about the only thing I can comprehend right now.

Thanks

Patience. Mac and Linux version of 3.93 are only on beta 1. Theres quite a ways for fred to go until he gets to OGRE.

Theorically, OGRE update is planned just after the final MacOS release. We will see in time, but don't expect a major overhaul, it will be mostly an update of the engine itself (from 0.11 to 1.0).

Well thank you Fred for your collective efforts in PureBasic.

Update of Ogre to version1.0 is very appreciated . An overhaul of OGRE is not needed at the present moment, because I want and still need to be more proficient with Purebasic.

Anyways thanks again.

P.S. Is there anything  (example: money/support)that will influence the rapid updating of OGRE?

Unfortunately, our major problem is time so if you find some pills to get extra time, feel free to them to us ;)

What would be the point then? Just an update to the engine but still stuck without collision. I would rather see collision added for the old engine.

Is there something I missed or don't know about?
