PBSoft is stopping selling it's current commercial tools.
Only the tools for Purebasic or ALL the tools (Powerbasic / Ibasic / etc...) ?
For free libraries and tools, visit my web site (also home of jaPBe V3 and PureFORM).

mmmh,
PBDEV is for 3.92 only , and if it doesn't support newer
versions it will be obsulete and
also 15 Euros are wasted.
Correct me if i'm wrong Edwin.
And best wishes to what ever you do next .

All tools..

--------------
The darn version again...
Such a version is put there for legal reasons.
A simple adjustment for making it work is not impossible.
Indeed, no new gadgets, but a simple param change or so is fine, for at least a year.

People are relying on this tool, i wouldn't dump it overnight.

Hi Edwin,

Really sorry to hear that.

Would it be possible to come to (or perhaps I mean would you be interested in coming to) some arrangement with someone to take over and support / enhance the products?

There would surely be some people here both able and willing to do this.

I'm afraid not.
Some parts of the code used are copyright of the company.
No intention to release those quality parts.

Thanks!

Ah well, guess not then.

Anyhow, success to you, I hope all goes well in your new areas of endeavour.

OK, after a few months checking how things went for me, i have decided:

1) A license for PBDev can be obtained again, this was requested several times (thanks!).

2) No new features are planned, don't expect it.

3) Support is alive, if there are simple bugs to be fixed, it will.

I gained the spare time i needed, these bugfixes do not eat to much time therefore this switch.

Again about the PB version on the PBDev site, it's a legal matter.
If you encounter a incompatiblity like, PB decided to add a flag for a gadget, you can't fix it yourself but that requires an update.
I don't see any reason why this would fail.

That's all folks!
