How powerful is PureBasic!!!!

Post by SoulReaper »

its not a nasty question, but does it beat c & c++ i mean,
if it can use pure m/c then why program any thing else
is it because game programmers are looking the easy way out to me if pure basic has it then why just not mix it all together and wow what would we have
:o)
so far i have programmed two simple things and i have not seen any one else say here it is see what I can do....Games Wise this is powerful with short time in construction thanks to fred...

prove this though demos if you cant then tell me and i well - i know fred has got this right...

at the moment i am going to write something in 2d a classic sort of thing very close to what you have seen in the arcade. :)

if i am just talking i am sorry but pure basic is so so so powerfull.......
and we who have bought it really do know that :o)
may the purebasic flow free :o)
ahhh it is strong in this one :D

SoulReaper, have you tried decaffeinated coffee? ;)

But yes, PB is quite powerful. It's amazing to me that so few people have heard of it.

And with Freak's new IDE about to be unleashed as the official one (the beta LINUX demo is available now in the anouncements forum, and the Windows and Mac versions will follow), it will hopefully get the respect it really deserves.

After buying BitzMax, and consequently wishing for it to be complete..., I've come back to Pure with an open and fresh mind.

I'm sure 4.0 will be worth the wait ;)

You know if Fred decides to expand to South East Asia, he should consider MSC. I bet he will get MSC status in a giffy.
