fadein/out the whole screen without the lame gamma

Post by Dave »

how can i fade in / out a whole screen with alle graphics on it (background, sprites, ...) without using this lame setgamma?

gamma is okay for fading into white or something, but not
for fading in from a black screen to a level or fading out it..

@Dave:

If the usage of Sprite3D commands are ok for your app - maybe you
should have a look on Ypser's fading procedures :

It's an old machine from 1999 with windows 98, 350 mhz and a "NVidia RIVA 128" graphic card with "DirectDraw 1.00"...

That means that most of all "old" machines cannot start such simple fading stuff? :(
