Enough of all these "versions"! Here's the direct download link (17.81 MB):

http://highspeed.realsoftware.com/REALb ... cSetup.exe

Now no more fighting!

Oh, I see (now that I've actually tried it).

So, download it directly here (17.81 MB):

http://highspeed.realsoftware.com/REALb ... cSetup.exe

Then use these details to install it:

Name: Pure Basic
License Key: E4W36R7N-RM4SBXJD-WPNS5DX4-YD9JU537-RB550CSFUSA-WIN

Done! :)
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

Just had a quick play with RealBasic... and wow, it takes 11 seconds to compile
a single form with a single button gadget that says "test" in a MessageBox when
clicked... By contrast, my 2248-line PureBasic source with single form with 18
gadgets compiles in 4 seconds... ;)

Exactly, you must own a legal version of visual basic to use the Real Basic offer.

In theory, yes. But there's no check for it, and they don't ask for your VB
license key. If they did, I wouldn't give it to them anyway -- they have no
right to ask for it.

Actually.. it does not say that you have to own a license for it..
It only states that it is for people who *use* VB....

Sure you can download it, but you won't have a legal license for distrubuting your own applications.

Actually, that's not true. As LarsG said, the REALbasic offer page clearly states
that the free version is for Visual Basic users, not licensees. And the License.txt
that comes with the free offer states nothing about having to own a license to
VB to distribute apps made with RB. It's all in the wording, and they've failed
to look after their own interests. Legally, they've made a massive boo-boo. ;)
