Not trying to steal Fred's thunder here, but tomorrow (Tuesday 4th) is also my
first day at my new full-time job, at Channel 7 here in Australia. (@Paul: this is
a Traffic job, which you know all about). ;) Must be something in the air!
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

Congrats PB and good luck !!

Over the years I think I have worked every position possible at a TV station. One job that drove me crazy was Traffic ;)
The best thing about working every department is that I gained considerable knowledge which allows me to write all kinds of software for the broadcast industry.

Enjoy !

dissappearing is good thing with developers, means one of 2 things, there relaxying doing nothing to do with work at all, or there busy with secret new stuff working hard on it, I do this a lot sometimes I'm extremely active, other times I don't exist at all. :)

Maybe he is from Corsica, because in my french history book by Goscinny and Uderzo the people from Corsica are the ones that not talk much

Thanks for making me fall out of my chair laughing.

Goscinny and Udzero wrote Asterix and Obelix and they talked up a storm. The only history they wrote was all fantasy.
