Game Maker had a GREAT community with much examples/tutorials/help.
But now I want to get started making games with Pure Basic.
I have tested c++/c#/liberty basic/ethos basic/...
But I just fall in love with Pure Basic, and I want to get started in programming games, and maybe some programs...
But, the community sucks? (ok, maybe not that bad..)
But the forum should be more like the GM Forum.
And the PureBasic page should have much more examples/tutorials and other help.
Examples/tutorials/etc, should be sorted in these groups:
*Program Programming
*Game Programming
*DLL Programming
I think they should hire somebody to make "examples/tutorials/etc".
I'm not saying that they should make PureBasic more like Game Maker, all i'm saying is that the community should be more like GM's.
I'm almost going back to C#....because it's much easyer to find help there...
If I ever make a game with PureBasic, then I will share the source code so everybody can learn from it.
Edit: Some months later...
I was just a little noob when I wrote this...
The community is great and I love PureBasic!
And it's not hard to find examples or help.
