It's a drive you will never forget 8)

As example the state I live in:
STATE OF OREGON
It's a little bit smaller than Germany and has a population of 3.4 million people.
How many live in Germany? 82 million?
It's like the population of Berlin would live in one country and not in one city.
And If you go to other states like Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota etc. the difference is even bigger.

The USA is really beautiful, but if you travel with open eyes, you recognize that there are also beautiful places outside the US :wink:

BTW: Who knew that Oregon has a Canyon that is 2000 feet deeper than the Grand Canyon :?:
It's on the Oregon / Idaho border and it's name is: Hells Canyon

wow... just amazing 8O

the whole discussion is very very sad. many people are talking about stuff, they dont know or just have heard in the tv. i am really surprised that so many are that naive and stupid, to believe the lies and follow a henchman like adolf w. bush jr. who will probably cause the ww3, while he is seeking personal vendeta. you talk about anti terror and cause terror on your own?! this is so disgusting.... dont get me wrong, i like the us country and ppl, but i hate the us politics!

And concerning that Canada pic.. I found that funny :) Sorta. My wife and I are aiming in about 5 years, moving to Canada since the current US Mandatory Draft will be full in effect by then. Well, and a few other factors :D

FYI: Bush didn't win, he stole the election just like he did 4 years ago.
See http://www.gregpalast.com/detail.cfm?artid=392&row=0 , or check the many links available from http://bellaciao.org/en/article.php3?id_article=4194 .
Why didn't Kerry protest? This is why: except for some minor points (gay marriage for example) he's following exactly the same agenda as Bush, as directed by "higher forces".
Asking for a full investigation into this fraud would reveal a truth that must remain hidden, namely that democracy does no longer exist in America.

The good people at blackboxvoting.org have filed the biggest 'freedom of informations act' request ever to try to find out what happened election night with the black box machines...
Some examples of fraud are:
-Counties reporting NEGATIVE votes!... one as high as 3 million I believe
-One county gave Bush something like 200,000 votes... okay, but there were a total of 600 people registered there...

I agree with Grumble... this election was stolen... again... yay...

If anybody wants to help in the effort to find out what happened election night... please donate something... even a dollar...

Those pictures just make me mad, why is it some of you morons seam to think Bush is responsible for that?, did he call down to the prision and order it I highly doubt it, because as you quite planly point out it works agist him, he told his millary to go in and do a job.

Punish the inviduals that are responsible for it, the head of America which cannot be everywhere at all times, to make sure his will is carried out.

What that does say is how depraved and vile some people in America are, and in that instants the Arab world is correct, infact if the majority of America was like that, I'd be on the Muslims side, telling them to drop "THE" bomb, drop it twice even Sir, heck I'd carry the 30 ton nuclear device on my back into the middle of new york myself and set it off, but... Thank God the majority isn't like that in America.

The reason your so saw about Kerry losing is because the Christians won the vote.

Umm, think about it for a minute, the above would definately not happen if Bush had a brain and decided to abide by international law.. but wait.. he's not that bright because the apple doesnt fall far from the tree..

Therefore, oh look, an illegal war. hmm, shouldnt' bush be tried for war crimes? hmm...

So don't blame him for something he clearly did is just.. asine. As for Kerry, I never voted for him. As for christians? I know better then to be one so... :P

Reading all these posts this is what I gather:

Democrats don't win = Voting Conspiracy
Ban of Gay Marriage gets passed in many states = Christian Conspiracy
Democrats moving to Canada = Canada is Liberal

If Democrats won, Republicans would say:

Rebublicans didn't win = Voting Conspiracy
Ban of Gay Marriage get voted down = Liberal Conspiracy
Republicans moving to Canada = Canada is too conservative

--------------------------------------

Everybody likes to pick on George Bush but I think he's a good president, not like the spineless politicians in Canada.

The biggest reason democrats lost was because people equate gay marriage with liberals and liberals to democrats and democrats to John Kerry and most Americans in general believe a marriage is between a man and a women. Remeber this is an issue that liberals brought to the table early this year because it is political season and they were hoping democrats would back the cause. Well they screwed it up for the democrats because it touched a huge nerve in the heartland of America and blamo John Kerry pandered to the wrong side and lost.

Here in computer terms i will spell out the equation:

Marriage = (Man + Women)
Republicans = Marriage

Gay_Marriage = (Man + Man) OR (Women + Women)
Liberals = Gay_Marriage
Democratic_Party = Liberals
John Kerry = Democratic_Party
Looser = John Kerry

-----------------------------------

Anyway I live in Ontario and gay marriage is legal here, first gay divorce in world was done here not too long ago. I personally believe marriage is between a man and a women. But then again I'm not American and my beliefs don't matter .. but Democrats couldn't figure it out. A lot of voters came out to make a vote against legalizing gay marriage (voting republican etc..). Democrats will tell you their platform was for marriage between man and women, but the equation just doesn't fit. People just didn't buy it... Would be neat to see Karl Rove run the democratic campaign, maybe democrats will win next time, or maybe they will go off the wall and support gay marriage across the board, you never know with Democrats. With Republicans you do know where they stand, whether you agree with them or not, and thats why John Kerry Lost. People in general don't like drastic change.

Frankly I'm sick and tired of the gay/lesbian marriage thing, from some minority group that will never get it's way, unless some how traggically the u.s gets a president that for it, where does it end?

Currently; if gay/lebian marriage was legal -> next? we'll have some minority group pounding there fists air ward that this is not enough, that there civil liberitys are being trashed because, Jane Denise Paula ... etc. conglomeratation can't marry it's not fare they'll all cry and next you'll have group marriage, then God forbid it!, you'll have pedofiles protesting that too, or at least the age of consent is to high, next? who knows perhaps they'll legalise murder too, oh wait! they already do it's called abortion, frankly I think we should clear out a country and anyone that doesn't want to be part of the majority can go live there, and reap the God wrath over on that island.
