want to write on existing pdf form - found purepdf but

perhaps I missed it in the tut's or the helpman but don't see how to open an already existing pdf form. The pdf_Open command doesn't seem to take a param for an existing doc, nor did I see an appropriate command? I suspect this is a stupid oversight on my part but any suggestions would be appreciated!
