That's it, the first beta version for MacOS X is now available for public testing ! After several months of work, I decided to make it public so you could follow it closely. Not all the functionnalities are available, but they should be added quite soon. Here are the main features and know issues of the current version:
- Compiler based on the v3.91 core, direct PowerPC code generated, very small executable (like on linux/windows)
- Gadget, window, sprite etc.. fully supported, currently trough GTK and SDL (native Cocoa and OpenGL version are coming)
- 80% of the command set is now available
- No floats - in progress
- No modulo (%) - in progress
- Probably many little code generation bugs, feedback needed

Ok, better take a look yourself to the compiler, it's available on your personnal account. If you can test it, it would be cool. Don't post the bugs on the forum, better send me (at fred@purebasic.com) some code with the faulty code so I can test/fix it immediately.
PureBasic now support 4 plateforms (AmigaOS/Windows/Linux/MacOS X) and 3 processors (680x0, x86, PowerPC)

Enjoy !
Fred.
