Got 3 Gmail invites left

Post by GeoTrail »

Does anyone have anything they would want to trade against a Gmail account?

Would like either good webhosting or software licenses.

There is absolutely nothing special about it except hat it uses some pretty clever CSS to deliver an interesting twist on a web based email interface.

I'm happy to send you an invite so you can see, but it's not magical.

Well, I'm very happy with Gmail.
Both the webmail system they made and the spam filtering they have. Very good. And the archive and search features are excellent.

I've tried several web based emails but none of them match Gmail in my opinnion. And offcourse the 1 GB account is great too ;)

I have lots of other email addresses, about 6 with my domains that I use regularly, but for mailing lists, forums and stuff like that I now use my Gmail account.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion I guess... I like the gmail account, don't get me wrong, it's nice to have a throw-away free account every now and then. I find the SPAM filtering about as good as any other - nothing new there. The archiving and searching is nice, but again nothing more than you get with your standard email client.

It is slightly better than hotmail and yahoo but in the end provides the same service at the same price (free).. Storage limitations used to matter but both hotmail and yahoo are going to roll out solutions comparable to google's soon.

point taken, but why do they (google) require an invite to open an account?
looks suspicious to me.
