Is Fred AWOL?

Should we send out the MPs (Mystified Purecoders) to find him?

Nope... he replied to a post a day or so ago.

UPDATE: I can't find it now... maybe he deleted it? 8O

He's been kidnapped! 8O

And the evidence (recent posts) deleted!

Deduction: It was a MODERATOR that did it.

*sigh*

Its just gone 3:30 pm on a balmy day in sunny qld and I don't want to be at my desk.

 Think I'll go awol as well and spare these boards.

nah, the 100 lines is too short for him, he'd be grabbing the bronze, silver and gold all by himself, they wouldn't let him...

For sure some strange jury would let a VB coder win, despite RTLs are forbidden.

ok, let's generate some false rumours... or perhaps the most likely reasons...

- he's going to cancel purebasic and introduce pure-c#

- he married bill gates... gardener? oh well... (time for new glasses)

- he spilled some superglue and now his keyboard (and fred himself) is stuck to ctrl-alt-del

- he's pregnant (well, these days, who can tell? :-))

- he's working on his speech for the lindows, oops, linspire community for the new introduction of lurebasic

- an extra terrestrial ate fred's leg and now fred is sued, being accused of (trying to) poisoning the alien (fred's leg? that's terrible! not with mustard...)

lol.

I like the Olympics and the lurebasic ideas. :)

Actually, he is in Hollywood. They want ultra-realism for Matrix N - The Final Dimension and they've asked him to program a real VR so they can do away with the special effects department. Or perhaps its an unreal RV (Real Virtuality?) I forget which. Or perhaps they just wanted him to write his CV.

Anyway, he's in Hollywood but he'll be back soon. They kicked him out. He was far too disruptive, all the starlets were after him (they heard he was good for avoiding bloat).

Dare2 & Blueznl - you dudes are out there! (my kind of people). I think Fred is waiting for the appropriate time to drop this bomb on us. My guess is that he is working on cleaning it up a little after doing some mad coding for the past few weeks.

Fred, it should be released when it is ready, and not a moment before.

Someone said that, but I do not know who.... I'm not that clever..

I heard that the surprise Fred’s working on is an Artificial Intelligence library for PureBasic. Everything was working fine in his test laboratory until the OmidXP computer virus struck, suddenly all of his test PC’s became alive. Sure, they were intelligent and self-aware but they were hell bent on the destruction of mankind. However, as luck would have it, Fred had installed SP2 on all of his PCs. It was only a matter of time until each PC dropped one by one. Fate is not without a sense of irony.

Fred has been extremely busy cleaning up the mess.

sorry, just wanted to join in

lol.

Fred sure has been busy! WMP(rogramming), FrankenSoft monsters ( saved by XPsp2! :) )

And doorknobs. 8O

Actually he's locked in secret discussions with Mr. Gates, who wants PB as the flagship language for windows longhorn. Currently deadlocked because
  • 1: Fred refuses to rename PB to PVB.
2: Fred is holding out for the full 59 Euros and Bill wants a discount.
Expect a press release soon.
