BluePaid.com doesn't like me :(

Post by akee »

Hi, I tried to purchase a copy of PureBasic with my credit card but it got refused. Is there an alternate site I could use? I have used it to purchase copies of DarkBasic Pro and Caligari's gameSpace with no issues. So can't be the credit card fault. :wink:

Hey! Does this mean Fred is back? I've been waiting for my online order since July 25 when Fred left for vacation - - Still waiting. My credit card did show a BluePaid purchase.

Did you actually get a user account login and download 3.91? This wait is excruciating. I've written to Fred from two different email accounts and written to support@purebasic.com at least once, if not twice. Altogether, I've made at least 4 attempts to contact Fred so I can get my account login.

Well, I'm not sure... I was asking for an alternate way of paying for a copy and from the email, it said to use PayPal. Could it be Fred or someone using Fred's account, I wouldn't know. Lets hope it's Fred. Well perhaps you might want to check with BluePaid to see if they have sent Fred the $$$. Perhaps Fantasie software did not receive your payment? Anyway, just a suggestion. That's the thing with these credit card companies. :(

@Akee
I don't know if Fred has announced he is officially back, or if he is back from vacation, but he got back to me and set me up with my account login info. I'm sure he'll have you setup soon too.

ALSO, good advice to me here was, call your credit card company and tell them not to block your BluePaid transacton. It was explained that international purchases are automatically blocked so you have to call your card company. I did so myself because BluePaid sent me a receipt before dinging my credit card. I don't know that it actually helped, but still no login information followed. I called about a week later and the card company finally said there was a payment to BluePaid. Strange delay going on there.

Bottom line is; Fred replied and I'm all set.
