what is the geekiest thing you have done?
Since finding PureBasic, reading (and contributing to) these forums at least 3 times a day (every day even Christmas day!) for the past 2 years!

geekiest thing... euh...

- spend three days playing dungeons and dragons non-stop (well okay, except for pizza and sleep)

- same thing, now playing on a lan party (blueznl from red alert 2 :-))

- downloading all eps of farscape, and then still buy all boxed sets as soon as they come available...

I used to drink coke all the time but i had to quit the habit after gaining 2 stone in weight and ending up in hospital for an irregular heartbeat. After a few years of no coke i tried some last christmas day, after 10mins (and half a pint of coke) both of my legs went numb and i got pins and needles in my arms and had hallucinations of faces rushing at me when i closed my eyes!!! I guess i'm allergic to coke after all.

hum, lemme think...

* stayed up 52 hours to play 3d shooters (got 20 hours of straight sleep afterwards)... of course coke is the way to go :D

* spend a whole weekend preparing an upcoming PB release, then, after finally it was released at 3am on sunday, headed over
to do the Linux one the same night. (till 5:30 or something like that.. again, coke is the way)
(unfortunately it was too much work, so we didn't finish it until the next weekend)
But Fred is more geeky... he even got up to work the next day, i just kept sleeping :P

Well my first ever geek "event" was at age six trying to "energise" myself with electricity... from the mains. I planned things carefully by filling up a bath with water in case I set myself on fire. Then I stuck two six inch nails in the socket, turned the power on and stuck my foot on the nails. I was very "energised" as I lept several feet from the wall 8O
