I have ToolsPanel set to automatically hide
When it auto-hides, I lose focus; I cannot type: I must click on the code before!

Also, the ToolsPanel never gets real focus: e.g., the only way to copy its (Help) selected text is via right-click…

+1, this especially makes working with tools using a screen reader super super annoying, as I can't properly access their controls.
