This looks like instructions on how to steal PureBasic
This looks like instructions on how to steal PureBasic
Someone want to get this to Fred's attention?
Re: This looks like instructions on how to steal PureBasic
Today I learned you can crack PureBasic by copying an nfo-file and a png...
To me this looks more like someone simply has uploaded the full binaries somewhere. Since there isn't a registration mechanism within the packages you don't need to crack it.
This had been done before and will be done again.

No need to crack it so I like the way from PB for free lifetime update, simple and it works much to most at us
Don't worry we are honest and don't fool with that

He's selling a bunch of pirated apps, but I can't find a "Report" button for his illegal "shop".
Re: This looks like instructions on how to steal PureBasic
Fangles said on discord he reported the channel. I won't click on his link as a windows user to check. Would be a Guaranteed malware I think.

I found something similar a while ago and told Fred. He said "You can't prevent that. Just move on."BarryG wrote: Sun Feb 08, 2026 11:45 am He's selling a bunch of pirated apps, but I can't find a "Report" button for his illegal "shop".![]()
The good news is,if it really comes with malware, the word will spread.
The bad news is, someone who paid for it leaked it...

I have to talk about GOG again. ( I did somewhere a long time ago ) GOG games are absolutely DRM free, no intrusive techniques. You buy, you download, works everywhere. Still, GOG works very well, people are willing to pay for things they like to support the indie gamedev they like.
The only viable thing for piracy is the required online connection. Big companies make there single player games require internet connection.
That works, but very limiting/frustrating. I work on offline machines, to close out even the slightest possibility of infection, and as I said, GOG is a success even if no DRM sounds crazy.
I'm naive. I belive if someone creates something worthy with a pirated software, he will make a purchase for that couple of bucks
to get access to a clean install of the software. You can't sell programs compiled with pirated and probably infected compiler.
