For example, bug HeaderSection / EndHeaderSection is not fixed viewtopic.php?t=87517
Maybe it will be fixed in PB 6.31.
Had actually also hoped for a Beta 7. :(

A bugfix is here now: https://github.com/fantaisie-software/p ... c/pull/340

You can build a fixed IDE with the code from Github if you want.

This is simply too confuse.

Fred released 6.30, then re-released 6.30 with one bug fix, now there is another commit in GitHub with a bug fix.

@Fred, if you fix more bugs, could you please release the fixes as V6.31 so that users don't mix several 6.30 without knowing which one is which one?

Thanks!

We can repair the IDE ourselves. We can provide solutions for the compiler using macros.
It's a shame that OpenGLGadget doesn't work on macOS, but since it's a linker error, we can't work around it.

Otherwise, everything works very well, and many thanks to the team for their great work.
What I noticed when testing my ListIconGadgetEx is that the ValD function has become considerably faster (approx. 5000 ms -> 700 ms) for the custom list sorting of double columns alone. And that's just one of many points.

Many thanks and all the best ;)

Nice this final version :D

But is that stable this version ? Or we need to wait another version more stable ?

Thanks to the PB-Team for the continually work.
Keep up the good work.

And folks, dont forget, after the release is before the next beta. (just saying. :))
Just because it worked doesn't mean it works.
PureBasic 6.04 (x86) and <latest stable version and current alpha/beta> (x64) on Windows 11 Home. Now started with Linux (VM: Ubuntu 22.04).

Feel free to wait for the next official release if you do not want to deal with this. I posted the link for users that are willing to compile the IDE themselves to get the fix faster if they want.

Of course Fred will release the next fixes as 6.31... I think the "re-release" was a special circumstance of a critical bug that was found and fixed within 24 hours.

If you are on Windows or Linux, i could build and upload the latest fixed IDE for you, if you'd like.

It is safe to install.

However, a reported bug was forgotten to fix in the IDE. But you can load and compile from GitHub yourself.
