As mentioned in the comment, the simplest solution is to add the WS_EX_CONTROLPARENT style to all container-type gadgets (excluding panel gadgets).
Target gadgets: ContainerGadget, CanvasGadget(Container), FrameGadget(Container), ScrollAreaGadget, SplitterGadget.
For WebView and WebGadget (Edge), adding either the WS_EX_CONTROLPARENT or WS_TABSTOP style is enough.

That's strange, thanks for the investigation ! I added the flags, I hope it won't have some unwanted side effects .
