All Affinity stuff now FREE! (it's a single "Studio" app now)
Mac/Win

ONLY "AI functions" need a paid (canva.com) subscription!
You just need to create an account and "connect" it ONCE, then you can also work offline!

What computer specifications should I meet to use this version of Affinity? I can't find it. By the way, the technological revolution has undoubtedly knocked on our doors again. Everything points to this being the number one product in image creation and processing.

What video compression software do you recommend?
(I can't read all 44 pages of this post)
I just came across this amazing video editor. Totally FREE and writes super fast. Called Avidemux. Weird name but pretty fantastic: https://www.avidemux.org/

Avidemux Portable is a good companion tool, especially if you need a quick and easy way to trim, convert, or reduce video size. However, if you're planning to edit several clips with music, effects, or transitions, it likely won't do the trick.

I recommend Shotcut. It's free, open-source, and runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. It supports multiple formats, offers non-linear editing (timeline, layers), a clean interface, and no watermarks. A good balance between simplicity and functionality.

I appreciate the tip but lets get the official website URL in there to avoid infectious 3rd party file hostsers: https://www.shotcut.org/blog/portable-app/

Your feedback is greatly appreciated. You can never have too much security. It's worth noting, however, that programs are distributed on https://portableapps.com/ with the consent of their owners. Interestingly, the owner of Inno Setup, Jordan Russell, personally withdrew it from https://portableapps.com/ when he decided to make Inno Setup a commercial program (at a considerable cost).

What security?
Along the years, I heard of compromised HD firmwares, processors' hackable "forward-looking routines" (even now it seems to be a problem)… and I didn't talk about software…
Security seems now to be a complete farce; I have to give permissions even to my scripts, and it can be a nightmare…
…but, more in general… WILL WE EVER WAKE UP?
