A lot more to do to the Web Site, but I want some of your feedback to get the main structure right so that it doe's not need to be changed later on.

I'm going to be adding pages for all the different Gadgets etc. I'm working on those right now.

Personally, i think, you won't receive much stuff like that

The Recource Site also
has a Tutorials section, but the only ones who wrote something are Art Sentinel and me.

I mean, i will write some more stuff from time to time, but if you want to have a very good
HowTo/Tutorial Site, you'll probably have to start to write your own stuff, instead of waiting for others to do it.

But with some work, this site can be a very good recource for beginners.

Never mind the whingers, I loved the kiddy colours because I am a big kid at heart. And besides, you did say the site was for beginners (kiddy level) so it was appropriate

Just one thing, on the front page, you have "Bare with us". It's spelt "Bear" Bare means naked and i'm not taking off my clothes for anyone's web page !!!!!

If you write about a file on your site (like in faq section) you should always add a link to it. This is becourse if your site grows (what it hopefully does) it will get hard for the users to find the file you're talking about. Just adding a link would make that easier.
The 'Program Style' Tutorial is empty/doesn't load
About the Downloads Page: The programs added seem a bit complicated and specific. Remember: This is a Beginner's site. Try to add simple, and well commented Programs, were the User can understand, how it works, and lear from it. This is much better than a big source, were ou know, that it works, but not how it works.

How about just getting rid of all the graphics - keeping it to text makes a big difference and you can still get a really nice effect.

My site runs of an ancient 33MHz IBM RS/6000 (well this page does anyway - other bits run off other servers) and it flies despite being generated by cgi every time.

My WWW site is ok http://www.topcat2.com/cgi-bin/naw/viewEvents.cgi - this link takes you to the main *page* you don't want to be bothered registering & stuff...

I built it very quickly (primarily because I didnt waste hours designing graphics for every menu item)...
