Heya all,
I apologise for being too aggressive in my posts regarding the latest PB 6.21, mainly the big images in menus on Windows and the different results on Linux.
Here is the background:
After two years working on V4.0 of my Hunspell open-source tool “Proofing Tool GUI” (PTG) I had to release it quickly.
I was near suicide and couldn't wait. I had written on it the release date “14-JUN” but days before I was feeling so disoriented that I rushed.
I compiled it for Windows, then quickly went to my VM with Ubuntu 24.04 and did the same.
I was shocked when I ran it on Ubuntu because it had faults in several parts, but time was running out, I had to release it, so I did.
Currently, I am a bit calmer, and I am slowing trying to find ways of fixing the issues.
It is public knowledge:

I am real, I don't hide my illness from anyone: “What you see is what you get.”

Re: PTG 4.0 and near suicide
HI marcoagpinto
I don't know if talking about your illness will help you at all, but I personally think that constantly talking about it with anyone can cause more problems than anything else.
People tend to judge others for no reason, and not everyone is empathetic. Besides, the internet is a jungle.
For example, here on the PB forums, we already know you (and support you) just the way you are; there's no need to insist
but talking about it on your product's website (especially about suicide) honestly seems like a mistake to me.
In any case, I'm just talking about the impression I get, in case you find it useful; everyone is free to do whatever they want with their own things, of course.
Cheer up!

I agree with Caronte3D, maybe it's better not to associate your suicide with the product, but you can talk here in the forum because, as Caronte3D said, we support you a lot and you're a good programmer.
I hope this helped you.
Good luck and good recovery !

Why quickly? Did you have donors or sponsors who needed it done? If not, do it at your own pace because you don't owe anybody your time. Best wishes for your health, too.marcoagpinto wrote: Sun Jun 22, 2025 7:54 amAfter two years working on V4.0 of my Hunspell open-source tool “Proofing Tool GUI” (PTG) I had to release it quickly.

Haven't you a FILE_ID.DIZ file ? (small text to explain your project)
Your org page is specific. I think it is not easy to standardize the pictures and schemes.
