My First Day

Post by nypaulie »

Yup, just discovered purebasic. I had been using RealStudio for years. It is no longer usable due to my recent Linux Mint upgrade (to 22.1). What I need to know is firstly the compatibility of Pb with Mint 22.1 and if there is a .deb file to install it. If not, how can I. I will be happy to install another Linux OS to a separate SSD if that is required. Thanks in advance for any help!

I myself use Mint Linux LMDE 6.
For Mint 22.1 you probably have to use the PB version for Ubuntu 20.04, 22.04.

For the installation from the INSTALL file is the Basic from the manual of Simple Install of PureBasic ...
I try to keep this up to date ;)
