Can someone please suggest a good free "file finder" for windows (10)?
Not an "indexing" one, but a well-done regexp thing that can also search inside text files, collect the matching lines etc. (hope I was clear  )
Search only:
- Internal Search of filemanagers: TC (Total Commander), XY (https://www.xyplorer.com/) or DO (Directory Opus).
Note: TC and DO can use Everything database if installed.
Search, Collect, Replace:
- PowerGrep Expensive, quite difficult to start with, but saves a lot of time (no need to write a program or use large ETL software).

Please read my edit on post above (piping) did you try? Does it work well?

https://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewto ... 17#p630717

When I tried (ffmpeg 6 win10 64) the audio was horrible, but if I did it in 2 passages, via intermediate audio file (with a .bat  , no piping) it worked well
I mean it's literally just a Linux VM, so pipes work as they do in any standard Linux distro. The only slight bit of weirdness with pipes is that if you want to be able to pipe to Windows executables from within a screen, you have to start the screen from within WSL and then attach to it over SSH or whatever, you can't start the screen session remotely. Other than that very minor and very easy to avoid issue though, it works great!
