Ahh .. the good old Please The Cookie Thing by Aardbei. These
files are so called 64k "Scene" - Intros. This particular one is over three
years old. If you like such small little multimedia demonstrations check

could this be done in pb?

It dosent have to be 64kb. 100 and a little more is okay, but could it be done without having to go to megs of 3d data and audio?

The last 64 k demos doesn't store meshes and 3D file data, you can find here how it is done.
It is the same thing for the sound : there is a soft synthesiser (written in asm in 99 % of cases) wich render in realtime note, fx, events (like for midis).
For a better explanation of 64 k, 4k or 256 bytes demos technics, feel free to read the Hugi diskmag.
