how secure is secure? countless xp patches...

Windows can never be secure - its massive, and half the world is trying to break into it.

they could contact the crackers and hackers and pay them for breaking it to it before the other hackers and crackers, and then have the patch before it is a big security failure

Didnt something like that happen with Atari ages ago, where there were two brilliant hackers who managed to crack everything that Atari did, so when they were caught instead of sueing them or whatever, they hired them saying that theyd rather have them on their side if they were a good as they were.
