As you said, it doesn't use the mouse, so the buttons don't have much use other than as visual guides. Not much use to our visually impaired friends! As far as "extra" buttons goes, that was most likely just to make it look more balanced.
I am discovering that it's not easy to program something that works for everybody. Maybe the scaling thing would be useful and easy to do, but mostly I'm doing this for myself. If anyone wants to improve on it they are welcome.
There are plenty of things I don't know about or understand in programming, so I'm just fumbling along, making stuff up where necessary. I don't want to ask for help continually, because then I'll feel like it's not really my own work.
So basically, I'm giving it freely, don't expect too much.
I'm also glad you haven't become addicted to fruit machines. Every cloud has a silver lining.
