"the authors are not responsible for damages"
Can a program with such a license have a virus in the program and the waiver of damages completely releases from liability in this case?
Or does it mean everything except clearly proven damage, which cannot look like a bug in the code?
I'm interested to know if there is a law preventing intentional acts of harm. If so, the community will take advantage of these features, and people will be less wary of free compiled products.

Re: Question about MIT license
This maybe depends on the territory, meaning where on the earth you're use the program. In most countries a crime is a crime and no contract is able to remove your liability to that. Also immoral contracts are often simply invalid.AZJIO wrote: Fri Aug 09, 2024 1:39 pm "the authors are not responsible for damages"
