Unable to select radio buttons in IDE with a screen reader

In the IDE's preferences, it is impossible to change the value of a radio button as a screen reader user. Pressing the up/down arrow keys doesn't cycle between options like it normally does. A couple places you can see this are in the autocomplete section, and in the Explorer tool's configuration. I can see that there's an option for tree view on the screen, but I can't get to it or select it.
