I've let it sit for 30 minutes before, and it never "unhangs".
Any ideas on what is causing this ? My disk checks fine. Other programs are working fine.

The editor keeps hanging on me. The core (main thread) is fairly active at 25% CPU cycles, so it's doing something.
I've let it sit for 30 minutes before, and it never "unhangs".
Any ideas on what is causing this ? My disk checks fine. Other programs are working fine.

No solution but I'll add to this observation. Not only does the editor hang for me, too, but it also crashes. Unfortunately it seems to happen at random. I can count on this more than once a day. I have tried to work out a trigger but so far have not. 6.11b2 behaves the same.
