Hello, today I discover a popup which appears on every pages of the forum, to get my consent about cookies. What I ever refused.

What about this new communication problem ?

Thank you

Hello Fred,

thank you for your answer, and for having told the reason.

However, whatever the decision (consent or refuse), the popup appears, again and again, on each page !

(my browser = OperaMini)

Quite disturbing to see this full consent window the 1st time, without Google telling us it's cookies for GoogleADs.
It would be a little better if at least it were mentioned in the title consent window
"This site uses Google Ads, which needs your consent to use your data" rather than "This site needs your consent to use your data"
But it's google, I guess it's not possible to change it ?

Nop, as told we didn't do an action for this, so it's on google side. I got this yesterday on Firefox mobile but just clicked once and it disappeared.

"They" did anything, that is sure. This change has only any hours. And it is absolutely not to help your business (<< 65 partenaires publicitaires >> )ImageBeing stopped on each page for that... It is a problem.

Yes. And that is the problem : as nothing is enabled to be recorded locally, a new feature in each page stops the browser and asks my consent. Whatever the answer, this useless event stops again and again.

The problem has already occured near 2014, but it seems Fred had found a setting to stop it, after any weeks.

I note that the pureBasic forum were a rare place where this juridic problem was not present : every site, institutionnal site even, have this problem. This enforces to set up our browser to receive commercial datas, and these datas have only one profit which is not for Fred.

Well, without any cookies absolutely every website should bombard you with these consent popups. Why did you completely disable them? Just use the strict cookie settings in Firefox for third party cookies and tracking between different websites can be avoided.

An other way is to use an ad blocker. Then the cookie popup will not appear at all.
The english grammar is freeware, you can use it freely - But it's not Open Source, i.e. you can not change it or publish it in altered way.

Nop. The best part of the sites whom the extension http ext is .org have absolutely not this problem.

Plus, this is illegal in France.

An example of site without this new problem : http://www.w3schools.com

This is not illegal in France, what was is the fact they collected data before without explicit consent. Seems like it's changing now, which is much better as you can say no.

I added this, Fred :

It is really a subversive attack against your projects. And I thank you to having had the mind allowing to communicate and to describe this change on the margin of your shares.

I don't understand what you just said. Can you please try again?

This website also shows you a cookie banner and stores your decision as a cookie. So if you don't allow cookies it should show you the popup every time.

If you setup FF properly (at least from my point of view…) by using the above extension you will avoid almost all cookie annoying messages, and the cookies will be erased on session end…
