got my firefox browser working (finnally)

Post by Dreglor »

sorry if i'm been less active in the forums even if you didn't notice...
the new version of firefox 0.9 came out i installed it and just about nothing worked execpt browsing no bookmarks or logins
until they put up a 0.9.1 then that got the bookmarks and most of the other stuff execpt logins
but that was fixed by deleteing a few files in the profiles for a fresh start :)

happy am i back in my favorite browser
maybe i can help other firefox'ers to upgrade?

Not sure how well this works, but it might be useful to try exporting bookmarks and then uninstalling < 0.9 and installing the newest version.

In the newest version they fixed the xpi problem, and it is now set/reset to default off. Quite a few of those extension are darn cool. Now, I just wish someone could port IETool over to it.
Heck, that alone would get Pure Basic up on the Mozilla Firefox page!!!
You'd have tons of people seeing it and giving PB a whirl most likely.

Whats that? Do I hear opportunity knocking?
