First time using Mac and problem with keyboard

I aquired a Mac Mini with an M2 CPU, when I run PureBasic the keyboard does weird things. Shift + P brings up the search box (doesn't type P). The d key duplicates the line (doesn't type d). What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried to remove the purebasic.prefs file ?
It's inside the .purebasic directory localised in your home directory

Thanks, that did the trick. I exported it from Windows without the shortcuts and imported it again.
