New Forum section for C Programming!

Everything else that doesn't fall into one of the other PB categories.

How many people do you think are here because they are beginners with no exposure to programming? Very few, i would guess. Most came because of a past experience.
less than you think, most ACTIVE users , DO KNOW c /ASM , but the huge base come into PB because exactly do not want to learn or mess with these languanges in all their aspects
including more complex syntax AND most complex way to compile (includes / downloads from github/ external dependencies etc etc etc)
and a lot lot more that PB way to keep thinks out of it

My fear is that we'll start getting only get tips and tricks in future that are all C code. Or if I ask a question and I get a C example on how to do it. That's not what I bought PureBasic for. Anyway, we'll see. I hope I'm wrong.

+1
exactly that ....

1. My opinion is the new forum section should NOT simply be called "C programming," but SHOULD be called something that has PureBasic in the name, like "PureBasic C programming" or "C code inside PB" or whatever. This will help reduce the people who are not using pb.
at least that.. like "Problems in INLINE C for Purebasic programming" ......

I don't see a problem here with an extra part like with ASM. Very few ASM requests have been made, only when it comes to optimisation and performance.

Better to put them in an extra part instead of having them in code questions.

I am clearly team inline C-Code programming section.
We already see the C-Code discussions today, so it is only logical to structure them accordingly.
Especially topics about the interaction of PB and C-Code or C-Code based libraries will be interesting.
Just because it worked doesn't mean it works.
PureBasic 6.04 (x86) and <latest stable version and current alpha/beta> (x64) on Windows 11 Home. Now started with Linux (VM: Ubuntu 22.04).
