Typical for this f***in' piece of crap called Internet Explod..., err, Explorer: I have just spend hours coding a great JavaScript, tested it on my Mozilla and Konqueror Web Browser (using Linux) and the script worked just fine, just fine!!! Then I tested it on the IE - didn't work, of course. How come? Now I've got a little question. Is somebody of you aware of JavaScript and would mind to check a little JavaScript code (about fiveteen-twenty lines) for some errors which could make IE fail to execute the script properly?
If you think you can help me, please have look at the script code and at the form which uses the script. http://www.benedikt-franz.de/js/
It's intention is to show all locations that belong to a town in the lower list, when the user changes the town in the upper list.
Would be very nice. It's just the crap that about 95% of all people surfing the web use IE. If this percentage wouldn't be that high, I just wouldn't care that the IE cannot execute this script.

merendo,
I just spent lots of time making JavaScript pages compatible with both Mozilla and IE, and I think I have an answer for you.
Change:
to:
and it should work OK in both browsers.
Regards,
Eric

Sorry, I just didn't know that there is a difference between text and value...
I have changed the code now. But I can't test it on IE at present. Would you mind to visit the page again and see if it works now? With my Mozilla, it still works.
Thank you very much for your help. Perhaps I will need it a bit more often...
Thank you very much again, ebs!!!!
