If that's deg C, that's fairly warm and muggy. It has been cold where I am (~15) but spring is about to "officially" sprung this Friday and the temp has crept up to 19. Good programming temp. But we have not had anywhere near the rain we have had the last couple of Augusts. Our chook isn't even running for cover. I'm betting summer (Jan/Feb just when kids go back to school after the short summer 6wk break) will be a scorcher, well over 40, maybe 45. Will that be enough Fang?

If you hit me with that much, you may end up calling me Sir Crispy!!

The diabetes makes me cold and my hands and feet always freeze (Reynaud's I think) but 45??? I may as well lay down in the basting pan for that:):)

Just one thing, I prefer to be basted with Garlic butter. Can't taste it or smell it but that's how I roll:):)

Nobody here talking about humidity and "perceived temperature"?

28º C was wonderful in Maceio' (but some days we had to run from shadow to shadow, because the sun was unbearable, and some nights the moon was hard to watch; too brilliant... but those were very exceptional atmospheric phenomena...)

PS: I set my air conditioner to "air dryer"...

I read a lot of stuff about diabetes... it SEEMS a good diet (mostly EXCLUDING bad stuff) can REALLY help, even heal (better than drugs)...

Seems also they "recently" lowered the parameters to classify you as diabetic, so they can sell you more shit...

I dunno what kind of diabete you have etc., but I strongly suggest you to research (obviously, discarding any SHIT you may find)..................

This is an example of the "mess" you can find (I hope you will find something useful, researching better):

Absolutely not sure. This disease covers several causes. And the result is often simple : if you do not eat "quick sugar", you loose your mind and fall in coma.

However "quick sugar" is present in many food products considered as "bad".

I am agree, a bad nutrition can drive, years after years, to a diabete. But there are also genetic characteristics. And, for sure, the best of the best diet does not stop anything in these ways.

So, after elementary characteristics of this disease, you have also its evolution. It is very complex. You can loose a little bit whatever in the body (one foot, one leg, one eye, etc...).

As lots of people are concerned, the health back infos allow more and more sophisticated approaches.

I am surprised by your observation.

I have never seen so much global diversity of quality food available cheaply.
