PureBasic 3.91 Beta 2 for Windows unleashed !

Post by Fred »

Hi there,

The new beta for windows is available on your personnal account. It includes all the last bug fixes and several little enhancement over the beta 1 : WindowMouseX/Y() now acts with window client area and the IDE has a new option 'Main source file' to ease the programming with multiple files. Please test it as much as you can, as it will be probably the last version before the final release. Work on the doc has started

Enjoy,

Fred.

I would kill (well, maybe not) to have a personal account. What does it take?
:)

Excellent news on final version being close!

Edit:
 I discovered I have one. And not a corpse in sight. :)

Thanks.

Love the main source option.

Suggestion: When creating a exe with a sub-main source window open, shouldn't the IDE use the main source then? Right now it uses the active window source to make a exe from.

Best regards

IMHO the idea of having personal accounts is a good idea.

Would be nice to get one...

I'm sorry to post allready a new bug fix, but there is something really strange
going on between Fred's Library compiling system and mine, so the
GadgetExtension Lib is messed up in this beta. (at least the ExplorerGadgets are)

So here is the fixed library:

When you purchase PB (with/in the last few months), you would of gotten a welcome email with a login/password and a url to the download page, in order to download. You use that information to download all versions of PB.

IF you were like me, who joined before that time (10/??/03), you did not get the email until recently, and that is only when the email system works :) It never worked for me, so I never got the email from Fred, had to get it fowarded from someone else... ergh.

From what I understand they use the site's php mailing system to send the email. From what I also understand that it's not the php's mailing system that is the issue, but the lame and pathetic ISP the mailing system resides. Something to do with fake spam lists they use.

I discovered I had a personal account by going to the download section on the purebasic site at http://www.purebasic.com/download.php3

If you haven't already done this, go there and follow the links, instructions. Maybe you can get in?

Pass recovery says that I am not registered in the database.

I guess I will be born tomorrow !

Never mind I am confident I will get the access soon.

Don't be sorry.

I have to work with software that costs $8000 and $15000, and I tell you a secret (but only if you keep it for yourself...):

This kind of software is buggy too 8O

And the worst thing is, if you don't keep up with your yearly subscription you don't get any bugfixes/updates/upgrades... :x
