They did, or rather they thought they did. It turned out to be the frog exaggerator..

BTW, using profiles to change sig, etc, no problems. However, using the profile to change user name or password doesn't work. For me anyhow.

Come on, guys, someone with admin privs do a Ucase(cnesm) for CNESM.

As to the rest of the posts:

More! Encore!
They will, as soon as they see the length of this thread...over a name
change.. lol

I have these php forums, and the best way to make the change (if you
want to keep his/her posts) is in the sql side, the admin has to enter from
standard control panel, then enter the web/sql db.. if he/she changes the
name in the DB, to upper case, then it should begin to display properly.

The second way, (which would delete his/her posts) would be to just
delete the account.. and let the user create a new one.

I'm refering to the original problem of this users name being entered into
the db as lcase. Not logging in. Logging in doesn't care about case.

His name is ok, he just wants it uppercase .. so if he re-registers, it would
deny him.. (afaik)

Can't he first change his nick to something completely different and then change again to his present nick but uppercase this time?

Worth a try.

As far as I can tell we (or perhaps just some of us? Browser?) can't change a nick at all. I tried, it appeared to accept it on submission, but nothing actually happened. So you're all stuck with Dare2. :)
