Game: ParaBOOM!

Post by DriakTravo »

Hey everyone. This is the kinda low times for videogames. I cant wait for Half Life 2 and Crashday to come out. I am bored right now. So I decited to make another small 2-D game in Purebasic. The object is to jump out of a plane and land in the trench (you are a soldier in a war). This is kinda like the game Sky Diver for the Atari.

http://www.1matthew.com/downloads/ParaBOOM.zip (about 400kb zipped)

The source code to everything is included. It might be a bit messy though cause I wrote it in kinda a rush late at night lol. J Baker helped me create some of the sprites. It is very moddable and it is fun to play around with the bitmaps.

Well, what do you think?

Ok, I modifyed the Paraboom program to be a little more accurate when modding the bitmaps.

http://www.1matthew.com/downloads/ParaBOOM.zip (about 400KB zipped)

AND

I made my own mod to the ParaBOOM program callled AstroBOOM. It is the same exact program with different music, sounds, and bitmaps.

http://www.1matthew.com/downloads/AstroBOOM.zip (about 500KB zipped)

Enjoy ;)
