Functions like: AttachProcess() are exported.
Is there really a need?
I assume pb can check out these without using GetProcAddress() API?

Edwin,

These calls do not have to be exported.

As the help says, these functions are for the benefit of advanced users.

They are used by the programmer to handle stuff like handling resources.

You're right Edwin, and with the 3.91 beta these functions aren't exported anymore (I assume you mean public symbols listed in the dll functions).
