He's smoking 5000 (five-thousand) cigarettes at once. Insane, isn't he?

I doubt it's 5000. If you zoom in on the image you can make out around 26 cigarettes around one quarter of the outside of the circle. From this the circumference will be 104 fags (fag being the new SI unit I just invented :)

Basic geometery gives us a radius of r = C / (2 * pi) = 16.552 fags which will therefore yeild an area of A = pi * r * r = 860.7 sq fags.

Of course this is not an exact number since it does not take into account the spacing of the cigarettes - who's to say that the side you can see is representative of the rest of the area.

So around 1000 would be the closer guess - congrats to Moonshine ;)

I hope not, because if cigarettes are free there, no tax can be added to the cigarettes and it is never good when smokers don't pay tax on the tabacco

If you people knew your facts, he was attempting to set a Guinness Record. Not like he smokes like this on an ongoing basis.

Couldn't agree more. By the way, didn't mean to sound like a smart ass. Was just a LITTLE mutated when I posted that one !
