Search the complaints before choosing.
I got a Scooba (Roomba wet mop scrubber), and left it plugged in over vacation, and came back to a dead bot. Dozens of reports of that brand dying if "overcharged". Granted, this was probably over 5 years ago, but still, search complaints. I couldn't fathom shipping a product that could be damaged by being left plugged in, but some companies find that normal and acceptable if they say "unplug after 3 hours of charging" in the manual. To me, it's a flaw that made me buy a generic (discontinued) vacuum on Amazon when I tried again. Had they done a recall or something, I'd have stuck with Roomba.
Sorry, no current recommendations, just the general "do your homework".

haha, I too am interested in a robot vacuum.
And I drive by the iRobot plant every day!
Maybe they have a dent/scratch discount sale?

The nice thing about standards is there are so many to choose from. ~ Andrew Tanenbaum

Cleaning quality is not bad for a lot of products - except for hairs (especially from cats and dogs).
But read all reports for your prefered product carefully to check the navigation quality (speed + routing) and how much time you'll have to spend for maintenance (to clean the cleaner).
I am using a Roborock (laser modell) which is fine (but definitely not perfect for dog owners).

If you have a Cat, or two, this one looks suitable https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6w2TkFljPwA

I own a Tesvor S6 Turbo (my second vacuum robot). I'm very satisfied. I would recommend at least 3000Pa and laser navigation (infrared navigation is not reliable). Also many of them can wipe your floor, which I don't recommend. Just let it suck the dirt up.
Good morning, that's a nice tnetennba!

I guess there are a lot good ones out there. I paid 400€, wouldn't recommend a too cheap one too. I know there are some for 80€ and such, but these are more toys.
Also keep your filters clean (not much work)/change them regularly or you won't have much fun with it.
