How do I create compiled HTML help files?
How do I create compiled HTML help files?
Like a program or something.

Do you know how to make the Next Previous Top.. etc, go away off the
pages?
I'm sure it's just a check box somewhere eh?

Sorry, but the absolute best is http://helpware.net/FAR
I use it with a free utility (http://www.keyworks.net/keytools.htm) that can decompile any CHM file I choose. I make changes and recompile with FAR. Very fast to make changes.

Please Read This Carefully:
The copy of FAR you downloaded (page top) is a full working version. You get a total of 8 weeks to evaluate FAR. After that unregistered copies of FAR will show a nag screen with a time delay. Please use this time to properly evaluate FAR before paying for a registration Key. If you need more evaluation time then roll back the time on your PC's clock.
There are no refunds. It is simply not cost effective to refund this small amount of money.

History
HelpMaker was developed in 1998. During that time, it was developed as a shareware product, with some success.
HelpMaker had moderate success. HelpMaker has gone through several versions, from a humble version 1 to version 7.
HelpMaker has grown from a pet project to a huge program, along with screen capture, manual designer and PDF.
End-of-Life
However, HelpMaker suffered a few set-backs and delays. After much deliberation, it was decided either to (1) abandon HelpMaker or (2) retire the program from shareware and make it freeware.
It's a great program and it's sad to see the development stop.
On June 2002, the program reached end-of-life. Rather than abandon the project, we decided to make the program freeware and put it on permanent maintenance.
We hope you enjoy using this program and continue to provide feedback.
Thank you for your support,
HelpMaker Development Team.
